Trucking industry leadership to get developmental boost
Kim Richardson, president of KRTS Transportation Specialists, and Tom Stirr, president of Thomas-Ritt Associates, have announced a cooperative venture to bring a series of targeted leadership development seminars to the trucking industry under the Excellence in Transportation banner.
The Excellence in Transportation Leadership Series covers a range of topics.
"Leadership from the Inside Out" focuses on how personal self-discovery and self-understanding contribute to effective leadership, and provides participants with opportunities to increase their level of self-awareness and improve their personal leadership effectiveness.
"Performance Leadership" provides participants with critical performance management principles including setting clear objectives, employee engagement, coaching fundamentals, using assessments for recruitment and development and effective performance reviews.
