Question of the Day

Would paying drivers an annual salary or by-the-hour instead of by-the-mile help reduce driver turnover?

* Yes. It would give drivers more financial stability and control over their income, thus reducing their perceived need to constantly job hop.

* No. It would cause more problems than it solves by eliminating the incentive pay structure that has worked well for carriers and drivers alike.
