Responsible for all performance management and salary administration.  Scope: $65M Annual Transportation Expense. $2.2M Annual Transportation Cost Savings. Successfully implemented a 10M system project enhancement in i2 optimization software.
  • Managed 65k annual truckloads of raw material and finishing supplies to 52 plant and distribution centers in the US, Canada and Mexico.
  • Provided inbound transportation mode and carrier selection with strategic supplier/carrier network in line with the Corporate vision and carrier management strategies.
  • Coordinated a variety of distribution and transportation activities for the Consumer, B2B and Health Care business units in the implementation of Corporate actions plans.
  • Provided technical expertise and leadership in the accomplishment of transportation requirements.
  • Implemented transportation cost savings initiatives with an average annual savings of 2M.
  • Project leader involved in the development, testing, and implementation of a new order and shipment information system.

Transportation Coordinator (1995-1999)

Responsible for providing support for daily transportation operations. This support included analysis, research, and projects to prevent, identify and solve problems to enhance cost effectiveness while meeting customer service requirements and company objectives.  Responsible for the development, testing, and implementation of a new order and shipment information system. Scope: $350M Annual Shipment Volume. Pricing specialist responsible for rate negotiations with Schneider National and JB Hunt Transportation. $65M Annual Transportation Cost Savings.
