Roadside Medical Clinic + Lab Brings Driver Wellness to GWTS

Roadside Medical Clinic + Lab (www.roadsidemed.com) made its debut at the 2008 Great West Truck Show in Las Vegas, NV by offering attendees a complimentary Body Composition Test and information on how to take advantage of the trucking industry's only comprehensive driver wellness program.

A medical assistant performed simple Body Composition Tests at the booth company’s booth. Body composition refers primarily to the distribution of muscle and fat in the body, and its measurement plays an important role in the trucking industry. Excess body fat may lead to an increased risk of getting many diseases, most of which can prevent drivers from performing their jobs. The Body Composition Test is one of the many services available to drivers at Roadside Medical clinics, located on the footprint of Pilot Travel Centers throughout the country.

Bob develops workout plans and coaches drives on making healthier decisions. He comes from a trucking family and understands first-hand the challenges drivers face daily.
